Typically known as 'ladies day', Crown Oaks Day is held every year two days after the Melbourne Cup, dubbed ladies day because of the tradition of a special day for the ladies to dress up in their finest, most feminine outfits for a day of champagne and fashion, fun and of course dabble a little on the lineup of race events on the day.

Myer Fashions is continuing it's tradition on the field, now in it's 45th year and is sure to represent the true meaning ladies day, which the elegance and glamour that it represents.

The highlight event of the day is Race 6, 'Crown Oaks' Grade 1, 2500m for 3 year old Fillies with a race purse of $1,000,000, the post time is 3:00pm AEST.
