This year's Hill n' Dale Cigar Mile, Grade 1, Handicap Dirt Mile event for 3 y/o's and up, (previously known as the NYRA Mile) is to be held on the 24th November, 2007 at Aqueduct racetrack, Ozone Park, New York looks very promising indeed, with a total prize pool of $300,000.
The 2006 winner of the Hill n' Dale Cigar Mile was Discreet Cat, in a lineup of just 5 horses crossed the finishing post in 1:32.46 winning by 3 ¼ lengths over Badge of Silver in second place and Silver Train in third. The 2005 lineup consisted of 11 horses.
